Family Devotions Sketchbooks

For a year and a half now, the kids and I have been keeping Family Devotion Sketchbooks.  Instead of taking notes about the Bible lessons we study together as a family, we try to record what the Lord is teaching us that day through a visual snapshot.  I've found that it's been a great help to me in remembering these great truths.  And it's fun to flip back through the catalog of pictures, quickly and easily identifying particular lessons gone by.

Here are some of the pages from the kids' books:

-------------

Family Devos by Lily (age 10)

Psalm 1:1-6

Proverbs 3:5-6

Proverbs 24:30-34

Jeremiah 2:12-13

-------------

Family Devos by Gracie (age 12)

Hebrews 12:1-13

Proverbs 22:3-5

Colossians 3:12-15

I Thessalonians 5:15

-------------

Family Devos by Isaac (age 14)

Luke 6:41-42

John 15:9-12

Proverbs 4:23-27

Philippians 3:1-4

Wow, what could be better to get the message across. What a cool idea! Sometimes you have to do what you can to make things happen, or be noticed, and this is very clever indeed!
