"Sail" #3, by Isaac

"Sail" for Illustration Friday
by Isaac, age 9

Go ahead -- Guess what Isaac made this picture out of...
Paint? Nope.
Marker? Wrong again.
Give up?

Blueberries!

Yep -- Isaac made this by scrubbing blueberry skins across his paper!

(You've heard of the book Blueberries for Sal? Dad thinks we should call this Blueberries for "Sail"!)

All of your sails are fantastic, but this is my favourite one. Great use of natural dye -- it's given some neat variations in the colour.

Brilliant!
I love it very much!
It looks so. . . watery. Which is perfect.
It reminds me of where I live, looking out on the sailboats on a foggy day.

I wonder if it's ok to use your fantastic image in my "upgrade project" that is called "Sail" adding link to this webpage and the descriptive text?
Love the balance and simplicity in this painting, the movement, the direction. Masterpiece.
