We had a great time deciding where to put the rocks and wondering how many people would see them before someone "adopted" them and took them home!
http://www.flickr.com/photos/taviamcgrath/sets/72157634448153259/livystonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08480536914799915245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32245905.post-13434935307477920032012-06-04T15:44:54.800-04:002012-06-04T15:44:54.800-04:00Adorable!!!!Adorable!!!!Amy Goldman Kosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12097402730754013139noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32245905.post-20039065318010212902011-09-07T13:31:14.745-04:002011-09-07T13:31:14.745-04:00Hello!

I had this idea a few months back, wanted to make people on the streets happier or just surprised. I paint the stones with nail polish (so that it doesn't wash out) and use plastic eyes to make them seem more realistic. Some of them are painted with patterns and stripes, all I can think of.
Anyway, finding out that you and your kids make the same thing as me, is quite interesting. I'd like to share my rocks with you, I take photos of them before I leave them on the street. :>
You can contact me on ei-by@inbox.lv, it would be really nice!
Thank you for this great find.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32245905.post-20247549378326584812011-08-19T12:34:47.878-04:002011-08-19T12:34:47.878-04:00The Daily What (hilarious exchange between Bebop-R...The Daily What (hilarious exchange between Bebop-Rocksteady and Doctor Goatbiscuits)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32245905.post-17646032384262292342011-07-07T03:57:29.591-04:002011-07-07T03:57:29.591-04:00beyond awesome! What kind of paint did you use????

Also - I linked through to your other site and wanted to thank you for sharing your list of favorite books. We are working our way through your list of books now, there were only a couple (the Wiesners) that we'd previously read. It's been wonderful to discover so many new treasures! We read Black & White 4 times the day it came in the mail, and I've been exploring the alternate titles by many of the authors listed. Amazing!
